When you are making your account
While you are in a process of registering your Vertt account you can enter a valid card as a payment method, or you can skip it and submit it later. If you choose to add a card as a payment method afterward, this far the only active payment method will be cash.
Since it is not mandatory to enter a card as a payment method on your onboarding in the Vertt App, it will, however, be required once you try to make your first ride.
While requesting a ride
It is possible to change the current payment method you are using right before making the ride request, by clicking on the payment method icon (cash or payment card) below the list of car categories.
- Change the payment method
- Click on the side menu icon in the upper left corner
- Choose Payment from the menu
- Choose your card or choose to pay with cash.
- Add a new payment card
At any given point there has to be a valid card linked to the account. If however, you wish to change the current card you are using, you can simply add a new one. This way, you can select the new card and have the new card number associated with your account.
- Click on the side menu icon in the upper left corner
- Choose Payment
- Click on Add your card
- Select the payment method (the card) you want to use
