To start requesting rides, the Vertt application should be installed on your device, and you should be signed in with your user account.
Simple steps to get to your destination:
When your location services are ON
- Open the application and set your destination below the question “Where are we going today?”
- The App will take your current location according to the location services and display it as a pickup address. If you wish to change the pickup address, you can do that by typing into the location field or using the pin and locating it on the map.
- The next step will be inputting the destination address, by typing or using the pin on the map for locating the specific address.
- By using the pickup and destination address the App will calculate an estimated cost for the ride, for each specific car type category and display it as a list. Swipe up the selected category and you will see the whole Price Breakdown.
- Choose a car type category from the ones displayed.
- Tap on the Request button to request the ride.
- If your pickup address is located in a surge pricing zone, we will notify you by displaying a dialog with the surge pricing information. In order to proceed with requesting the ride, you need to confirm that you accept this surge pricing.
- If you add your pickup address manually by typing, here you will be required to specify the exact pickup point by dragging the pin on the map. Please wait a couple of seconds until we match your ride request with the optimal driver.
- After the driver accepts your ride request, the app will display the driver's current location and the estimated arrival time to your pickup location.
- You will be notified when the driver arrives on your pickup location. Enjoy your Vertt ride experience!
- After the ride is complete you can rate your driver.
When your location services are OFF we are unable to pinpoint your current location and use it as a pickup address. In this case, you can add your pickup address by typing the address manually in the pickup address field or by specifying the address by using the pin on the map.
To change your payment method before requesting the ride, tap on the “cash” or “card” icon, right below the list of available car types or use the PAYMENT field from the side menu.
